The race takes place at the Abdera-Keramoti seashore, an area rich in historical, cultural and environmental background. Runners start at the Abdera archaeological site, cross the Nestos river mouth, and finish at the Keramoti municipal camping. They follow a route next to the sea, enjoying a unique sense of freedom and being in touch with nature. The terrain consists of firm sand and has a smooth inclination.
